‘Cabbage Boy’ Lee Sang-ho (29, Nexen) recorded his best result of the season, 4th place, in the Alpine Men’s Parallel Giant Slalom at the International Ski Federation (FIS) Snowboard World Cup.

Lee Sang-ho unfortunately lost by 0.32 seconds to Radoslav Yankov from Bulgaria in the 3rd-4th place match in the 2023-2024 FIS Snowboard World Cup Alpine Men's Parallel Giant Slalom held in Pamporovo, Bulgaria on the 21st (Korean time).

Lee Sang-ho narrowly advanced to the round of 16 with a total time of 58.68 seconds in the 1st and 2nd rounds of the 61 players, narrowly advancing to the round of 16. In the round of 16, he faced Maurizio Bormolini (Italy), 2nd place in the qualifier, and Roland Fischnaler, 10th place in the qualifier, in the quarterfinals. (Italy) was defeated in succession.

However, in the semifinals, he lost to Daniele Bagozza (Italy), who ranked 3rd in the preliminary round, by 0.42 seconds, and then also lost in the 3rd-4th place match.

Unfortunately, he did not make it to the podium, but 4th place was Lee Sang-ho's best finish this season. The previous highest finish was 5th place at a competition in Switzerland in December last year.
